Drawn Bottoms and Lids

Drawn bottoms and lids: versatile solutions

Drawn bottoms and lids are made of cardboard blanks that are shaped using heat and pressure. They serve a variety of purposes, but are primarily used to close tubes and light cardboard containers. The diameters are variable in the range from 50 mm to 660 mm.

Variations and customization options

Punching and drilling is possible for all bases and lids.

Bottoms are cardboard rounds with a surrounding frame:

  • Frame height: 10 – 40 mm
  • Wall thickness: from 1,2 – 4,0 mm

Lids are cardboard rounds with a surrounding frame and an edge pressed at right angles to it. This rests on the edge of the container when closing, which prevents the lid from slipping in:

  • Frame height: 20 – 30 mm
  • Wall thickness: 1,5 – 3 mm
