Round & square Tubes

Since 1995, cores have been produced in Rositz for a wide variety of applications.

It all started with spiral-wound core or hard paper cores for the wire and sheet metal industry. In the following years we further developed this division. Shipping tubes, tube rings, replacement tubes, display tubes, construction tubes and core tubes complemented the product portfolio. In addition, the production options were expanded to include parallel-wound heavy cores.

Core or winding tubes differ from shipping tubes in their surface quality: the cover sheet is wound butt-coiled and sanded if desired. They therefore have a smooth surface and are ideal for winding flat or strand-shaped materials such as films, papers, textiles or yarns. They are also used to protect sensitive waves or as spacers in the packaging industry.

Since 2003, in addition to conventional shipping tubes with a cylindrical cross-section, we have also been offering square and rectangular tubes. TFT tubes are extremely versatile. Their advantages lie in the dimensionally stable construction with low weight. Made primarily from paper, the shipping tubes are recyclable and therefore environmentally friendly.
