For many years, TFT GmbH has been manufacturing tailor-made containers for the wire and cable industry, specifically designed to meet our customers’ unique requirements. Our drums are ideal for round wires and cables used in welding, electrical systems, machinery, motor vehicles, and many other industrial sectors. They are easy to stack, store, and transport, while also offering robust protection against mechanical damage and weathering.
Unlike plastic drums, our drums allow diffusion, preventing the formation of condensate, and hence corrosion on the product. This means that condensation is not a problem, ensuring the integrity and quality of your coiled wire.
Our Solid drum is wound from high-quality kraftliner, reinforced with robust steel rings at the top and bottom. This ensures optimal stability, making the drum suitable for multiple reuses.
The Eco drum does not use metal rings, making the drum body a mono-material that can be completely recycled as waste paper. Nevertheless, the drum provides sufficient stability for a filling weight of up to 500 kg.

The internal core of this packaging is available as an optional feature. When fitted, it is generally bonded to the drum and delivered in a form ideal for its specific application. Upon request, it can also be delivered in an unbonded form, allowing the customer to install it whenever needed.
You can choose from a range of lids and bottoms that best suit your needs. Additionally, our portfolio includes various handles.
Furthermore, you can choose composite materials for the outside or inside (polyethylene, aluminium, silicone, etc.) instead of kraftliner. We can also customise your drums with individual paintwork, labelling, or printed motifs.
